Started in January 2015, the Express Entry (EE) is an easy fast, and efficient online application management system meant to manage applications from skilled people seeking permanent residency in Canada for following three economic immigration programs.

• Federal Skilled Worker Program or FSW
• Federal Skilled Trades Program or FST
• Canadian Experience Class or CEC

This is an expedited process of getting permanent residency in Canada. Canadian Express Entry system is the fastest in the world to get permanent residency. Skilled tradespeople, skilled foreign workers, and graduates having the ability in English or French language can get the advantage of this system to become a permanent resident of Canada.

If you find yourself eligible for any of these programs, submit your profile aka Expression of Interest (EOI) to the system. After you submit the profile, you will automatically be given a Comprehensive Ranking System or CRS score. Based on your score, you will get your rank in the Express Entry pool.

The government of Canada conducts a draw, commonly known as the Visa lottery, almost every two weeks. The authority issues Invitations to The Apply (ITA) to the highest-ranking profiles selected from the pool, for Canadian permanent residency. Compare your score with the score for the latest Express Entry invitation draw. Once you get the ITA, you can submit your application for Canadian permanent residence. The process usually takes four to six months to complete.
